Can Golf Tees Help Your Game?

With advancing technology, tees have changed in design and some are meant to be better for a game than others. Some claim to help a slice, for example.

The most popular in the latest designs is the Brush-T Golf tee which gives your ball more distance and accuracy. It will cut down on friction during the shot. It is different to a more conventional tee which will cause the ball to push down inside it before it leaves the tee, causing friction, but a brush-T stops that. There are other brands which also do this. The bristles are flexible and do not have the interference that a standard tee does. It should help to make the drives longer and straighter and research has shown this to be true, with an extra 7 yards being achieved per shot. They are big and bulky though, compared to standard tees and there are different sizes to use with different clubs, but are string.

Zero Fiction golf tees are popular as well. The design stops the ball having much contact with the tee and so it means that the shot is accurate and straight. They are made of biodegradable material as well and so are environmentally friendly. With the cup size being smaller than conventional tees, there is less spin on the ball but the ball can tend to fall off.

Lift tee is designed so that the tips of the tee are the only contact with the ball, which means that there is less resistance and therefore the ball goes further. It is sturdy and they last well. They have a 'lift' which is flexible, that the ball rests on.
